Dr. Derek Mittleider is an interventional and vascular physician located on the Space Coast of Cocoa, FL. He is a recognized expert in the treatment of peripheral vascular disease and specializes in minimally invasive procedures including prostate artery embolization (PAE), knee embolization (GAE), and shoulder embolization (TAE).
Dr. Mittleider received his interventional and vascular training at Maine Medical Center and the Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute. He has successfully treated a large number of vascular patients who were told by others that surgical bypass or amputation were their only options.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Mittleider is an active lecturer and published researcher, with:
