I would like to say I’ve been straggling with Peripheral Artery Disease since my diagnosis in 2020. My vascular Dr. at that time only prescribed medication & told me to walk daily & I would build collaterals. I tried daily with no success so I became very limited in walking which kept me from living my life. Long story short! I moved to this area & by grace of god I found Dr. Mittleider & his wonderful team. Within a month I had some stents placed & walking pain free for the first time in 4 years. I heard about embolization at a seminar and knew it was the right choice for my situation. I had developed arthritis in one knee and I was not willing to go the orthopedic /physical therapy/knee replacement route. The procedure Dr. Mittlieder performed was relatively painless. He and his competent staff were very considerate and caring. The facility spotless. Afterward I had no down time except for taking it easy for a couple days. I am grateful that I can now go hiking again!
